my son get angry and throw whatever he has in his hand.

I would suggest to analyze the patterns behind his anger, like you denied him for doing something or don't buy what he wants or let him do what he wants. Then politly let him understand what is right or wrong. It may take time as it is not a magic trick. But once he starts understanding I think will be in the right state of mind to control his anger. Behavior like this is common but handling it psychologically by understanding the reason is the right way.
