Hi :   My daughter's 4th birthday is approaching soon and this is the first time I would be celebrating socially.   I have planned to primarily invite kids and a few adults who would be accompanying the kids who are too small.     I need suggestions on :   - Food spread (basically snacks) - Games which will be like a ice-breaker for the kids to mingle up - Theme (either colour or some character)   Please do post your thoughts/suggestions.     cheerios....

Guess the number. Fill a small transparent jar or bag with chocloates. Give a paper to each child and let him write his name on it. Let the kids guess the number of chocolates. The one who makes the most accurate guesses the most accurate guess gets the chocolates

passing the parcel is a classic that goes with all age groups. You can also play colour-colour wherein you mention a colour and kids have to touch(Or show) some object of that colour. The one who is last is eliminated. Put on some music and let the kids dance. Assign a judge and the best dancer gets a prize..
