I have a 11 month old daughter. I am breastfeeding her. she started teething 2 months back. she starts biting my nipples when I feed her. its intolerable. I don't want to stop feeding her. pls suggest what can be done? Has anyone else faced the same?

ya has exprncd tht twice or thrice.... whn they do tht stop feeding as preethi said... say a firm NO... they will understand the change in ur facial expression.. if they cry... let them cry for some time.. I knw it hurts to c them cry... but think abt the pain when they bite;-)... again if they repeat.. gv one light tap on thr mouth... I did tht.... and he stopd biting after tht... ;-)

I agree with Preeti. Even I did the same and now she doesn't bite. Dey follow the expressions. If u react at the tym of biting, she'll catch your reactions and wid some time will stop biting.
