Blood and mucous in baby stool

My son from the last week was doing semi solid potty with seed like thing about 6-7 time a day but suddenly from day before yesterday sometime blood and mucous appeared in the stool. I consulted doc she has prescribed med. But I m worried... Pls suggest

u should check with doc and get a stool test done. how old is baby? is it lactose intolerance?

Yaa stool test is done... Report say mucous and few RBC cell has been detected in the stool. Doc said not to worry she has prescribed few med and said to see for 5more days

then don't worry. it should be fine. if you are using some utensils or bottles for feeding, make sure they are sterilized.. baby get infection sometimes.. take care if hygiene.. like - sanitize hands whoever handles baby, no kissing on lips specially..
