Hi Sujata, have less starchy foods and lots of fluids. Just ask your gyne she will provide a chart for you.

stop taking sugar.. Instead u can use honey.. also try to avoid taking carbohydrate.. rice n wheat are good aource of it.. instead u can prepare multigrain roti... use bajara, juvar, ragi n even besan instead. don't worry abt baby's nutrition.. he will be deinately nurish by these type of food. take more and more grean leafy veg. n protin, fruit in your diet rather than fat, sugar and carbohydrate. lastly avoid food from outside.. whatever u like prepare home only.

dear sujata first of all don't panic , it's ok ... cravings for it. 3. eat all leafy vegetables which are rich source of folic acid 4. eat small amount of food , with a gap of two hours 5. avoid day sleeping though you can rest by just lying down 6. try going for a mild speed walk everyday 7. eat fresh fruits like guava , Amala ,pomogranate 8. avoid starchy vegetables Nd cereals like potatoes, amorphallus, rice , 9. go for a broken wheat( dhalia) or oats or millets recepies dey are a good companion of diabetes 10. finally in your visit with gynac ask her to prepare a chart for you. all the best dear
