I waant to buy a good quality breast pump as I am a working woman. my baby is completing her 4 th month. which one will be more useful and less painful?manual or electric. .since expressing milk is going to be an everyday practice i want to do it in least hassle free way. is it always painful to pump milk from breasts?

Lekshmi I don't recall it being a painful process. however I would request fellow parents to share their experience.

Chicco is best. I have used it. keep the speed on the lower side.

I too used it for feeding my baby while we are both out... it's easy to use and not painful at all... chicco for sure. good luck

I have also extracted breast milk for my baby and have used Medela Electric Pump. It takes 40 minutes and extract the milk completely from both the sides. It is painless and takes much less time than a manual one..

I used Phillips avent electric pump. price is a bit on higher side but I was satisfied as it was effective and no pain.
