Varsha Varsha u could keep him occupied by holding his hand and keeping a cloth on his head so that he doesnt get distracted .Make sure not to cover his nose and mouth so that he can breathe.

Helo Varsha it's very normal only. As they grow they got distracted for sounds, talks etc. For breastfeeding you can take him to separate room where there is less distractions. You can talk with your baby, tell stories, sing songs, rhymes etc. The time they take for breastfeed also reduces. Enjoy the shorter time. What i did was in my nursing pillow hanged a toy so he plays with it while taking feed. If baby weight gain is good and pee and poop count is good the feed your baby takes is good only. don't worry mumma. You can read the following blogs as it might help you in feeding for longer time Blogs-https://www.parentune.com/parent-blog/how-to-breastfeed-longer-with-ease/548, https://www.parentune.com/parent-blog/6-tips-to-help-breastfeed-your-child-longer/763

Hi Varsha ! As baby grows he is able to suck more milk in less time. As soon as he is full he starts playing. Still if u feel he gets distracted u could feed in dim lights with minimal distractions around.
