Calcium diet

Hi,   My one year old daughter completely avoiding taking milk, the milk is the richest source of calcium and  this is the  vital nutrient for babies. how can i full this with alternatives.

Hi Stalin Marimuthu You may also choose other dairy products like dahi, cheese, paneer. Children are always fussy about milk.

Milk is definately imp. But you may also go for smoothies n shakes. Children love when u add some flavour to the milk

Try fruit shakes.. healthy , energetic and good option for fullfilling breakfast. Or go for doodh dalia sweet breakfast options.

add flavors to milk like fruits . Healthy and filling. but check the sugars.

milk though is one of the most well-known sources of calcium isn't the best. even dahi, cheese, paneer are good sources. increase the intake of these. you could also give some homeopathic calcium tablets

Hi Stalin while it is necessary for kids to have milk there are other foods which are rich in calcium. Cheese, dahi, paneer and other green leafy veggies do fulfill the need of calcium. If you are a non veg, you can give your kid an egg or an omelette. Or you could make an interesting grill sandwich loaded with cheese and vegetables
