Nehar Hello I hope you are good. No its does not happen. If the mother's milk does not fill the stomach of children, then formula milk has to be given so that the child can fill the stomach well. Formula milk can be given to the child along with mother's milk, but ask the doctor. Give to the baby breast milk and give massage at least four to five times throughout the day. The weight of the child will increases. Giving only formula milk does not increase the weight of the baby and the weight of the baby also increases according to the birth weight.

Nehar Yes formula milk has sugar in it, which is the cause for weight gain and obesity in children. Though it is tailormade to meet the nutritional requirements for babies still breastmilk is an elixir and nothing can match its benefits. The advantages breastmilk has for babies are numerous and long-lasting. Here is a blog you might find useful. No it is not true. Every baby is different. For them breast milk is best but if the mother's breast milk supply is not sufficient then they have to look for other alternatives and formula milk is best. From the start my sil's breast milk supply is low so her pediatrician suggested Dexolac Stage 1 formula milk. It includes FOS which is good for their gut health.
