my son is 11 years nine months old. he is well behaved, intelligent,and a good boy. the problem is that being an only child he is sometimes not mature in his behaviour as the other boys of his age. teachers say he is quite innocent.... but now should develop his personality according to the needs of todays society. what should I do

hi Madhu Dubey Pathak ! please do not worry! there are no tutorials to make a child mature and behave cleverly.. let him learn on his own by letting him take decisions regarding himself. even if he does mistakes dont worry he will learn from those sooner or later . praise him when he expresses himself and takes a stand. . Madhu he will come around soon. let him fight his own battles and come out confident as a winner , if u would protect him he would be fine but not emerge out as confident, which is very important for him to have positive self image . hope this helps!

thanks Shikha.... for the wonderful advice..... but I m really sometimes scared for him..... how will he manage in this rough world..... teachers say he is very pure at heart..... very well behaved..... and of course gud in studies..... he is active in many activities like karate,abacus,Vedic,Casio,guitar swimming and does gud in all of them........ but people say make him a bit chaalak........ I m sometimes so much stressed out
