Hi Hemant, what all have you tried to ensure that he writes? You may give him 1/2 page exercise to write every day so that he gets a practice of writing.

hi Hemant Bavaria! does he write slowly and get bored ? has he been scolded for writing badly in school or at home? does he ever complain to u about pain in fingers while holding a pencil? all the above three factors might make the child unwilling to write. please look for the cause and make him write for fun in a colourful diary where he could write anything to begin with with his colorful pens. also if possible allocate a separate study area with books of his interest including comics , fiction, science etc. make sure his posture while writing is correct, also his writing tools are of correct size and also his grip is right. give lot of praise when he makes efforts . reward him with smiley stickers or stars or his favorite character stickers . divide his work into smaller chunks so that he doesn't have to write a lot in one go so that fatigue doesnt set in. Also u could seek his assistance in making lists such as grocery, to do lists or what to buy from market etc. appreciate him for his help, or u could play lots of games which help in refining fine motor skillls by doing exercises such as finger painting, clay modelling, writing in sand or vertical writing on white/black board, etc. this will give strength to his shoulder and Finger muscles. don't forget to hug him each time he surprises u. hope this helps!

Awesome ideas Shikha. My son had a similar problem. And I bought him many rough books and journals for him to write what he likes. I ended up with multiple journals at home with just 1 page written. But atleast he writes his work in school
