My baby is 7 months old. And he screams a lot. Without any particular reason, he screams continously. Sometimes it for more than an hour. And nothing can pacify him. He doesnt cry, please note. He shouts. He is too much playful kind of. His sleep is also a big problem for me. Continuously he can sleep only for 30 mins or so during the daytime and then a pat is required.

Hi Lovely! Screaming is a perfectly normal 7 month old baby's way of seeking attention or communicating to his parents/caregivers his needs as he knows no other method at this age. Try not to discipline him by shouting louder or scolding as this would mean he is successful in his attempts of catching attention and might adopt other aggressive ways too like hitting or throwing away things .Rather try and ignore his method of communication and focus on his demand like hunger, change of his diaper or demand for his favorite toy or making him sleep etc. This is a phase which will passby soon if dealt with tactfully. hope this helps!
