Hi Shradha, Do you know those kids or their parents? Have you met them before? Will there be an adult supervision at home / wherever they plan to do combined studies? if yes, you can allow him to go for combined studies. If you ain't comfortable, you could call his friends home for lunch or dinner and for some study and playtime. So you can get to know his friends, what they like to do and what they talk about etc. However if there are more than 2 kids, then there are chances of getting distracted during combined studies. So it's better to have a smaller group for combined studies. But just ensure he doesn't use "combined studies" as an excuse in order to spend time with his friends. If you want him to spend time outdoors and if he is reluctant, once in a while, take him and his friends for a day long outdoor trip with some activities planned (hiking or cycling) or book a tennis court or take them to swimming pool so he can have fun with his friends as well as some physical exercise.
