Cough after drinking milk in early morning

My baby is 1. 5 years old and having a chest congestion and was breathing rapidly with slight sounds a few days ago along with coughing fits on and off. His doc put him on nebuliser with a mixture of saline, clenil and atem. Now the breathing & sounds have eased but after drinking milk in early morning he still has a bad cough on and off and his chest still seems congested. He coughs esp early morning after drinking his milk and at nights. Why is this?

Hi gaurav kumar ! Cold and cough cycle is prolonged at times and is stubborn to go away, and that is where we need to be also at it getting it completely off the child. Have shared some of the good blogs i read on diet and home remedies for prolonged cold n cough above. Pls have a look. Take care
