My baby is 2 months old and suffering from cough and cold since yesterday. Please advise how to give steam to her. Also please suggest for how many days should I avoid giving her a bath.

Hi Shivangi, your baby is too small to be suggested anything. I can only suggest you to massage his chest with luke warm (make sure) cow ghee. For steam just consult your doctor.

If you are using a steamer I would suggest you carry hér while sleeping and cover your and the baby's heads with a big towel. Let her gently breathe in the steam without direct exposure.

hi Shivangi Pande ! u can take the baby in ur lap in washroom, keep the doors closed and steamer on, . since the room is small , it would be effective. please be careful and keep steamer at a safe distance. make sure to cover the baby well and fan off when u bring him out wipe his face. . shivangi, u can give him sponge bath ,for a day or two. do wash his hands with soap..

Shivangi Pande u could boil water in a big Cauldron (pateela) and again keep it in washroom at a safe distance from the child. please make sure to hold the child tightly. u can take someone's help.. as well. babies are totally unpredictable and so it is better to be cautious.

Heat 2 spoon of coconut oil, then add 2 garlic and pinch of tamarind to tat.. U can feel the garlic smell, make ur baby to smell tat. Then apply that oil to baby nose, chest, back.. Do it twice a day.
