hi chhaya ! dal ka paani is advisable for a baby who has just been weaned off say a 6 months old baby. u could gradually thicken consistency of d food being served to yr baby so that she gets used to swallow/chew it. give daal directly which is easy to digest with roti dipped in it to make it soft in small small bites or u could even mix rice in it. please make sure chunks are smaller in size so that it doenst choke.
