My daughter is 2. 4 years now. She speak words (30_40) but not sentences. I want to send her to play school but completely confused. I heard that we should send to playschool when child can say name, express hunger through words. She expresses when she is thirsty or wants to motion, but cant tell her name, address phone number etc. She only can say confidently different colors.. That's it.... So should I send her or now to playschool? Please help.

hi Arika Tiwari! I do understand your concerns! as long as she can express the urge to use washroom , hunger and thirst, it's perfectly fine. a child should be able to tell her Basic needs as it's not easy for a teacher to keep guessing who wants to use the washroom and who's hungry or thirsty. it would be difficult to manage so many children for the school and maintain health and hygiene at the same time. keep working on teaching her name and parents name. this is the right age to get her admitted in a good preschool which focuses on overall development of the child .hope this will be of help to u!
