what should be diet for 6month baby. kindly tell me with specific time. can we give cerelac or not

yes nikita clean it and wash it properly and then dry completely in sun.

I would suggest don't give wheat as ur baby first food as it has got gluten which is difficult to digest n kids are allergic to it.. u can start wheat after 8 mths.. for homemade cerelac u can add Dal's like moving,tur dal,masoor dal with rice n follow the same process..

ya definitely Nikita. Take 2cups of wheat, 1cup rice, 1cup ragi ( you can add other cereals also if you want) . wash them properly and dry completely in sun. Roast it till the colour turns slightly brown , grind it to powder, store in airtight jar. whenever required take 1-2 spoon and cook it either with milk or water.

need to add one thing whenever u give any new food wait for 3 day test rule,it means if u start suji then give suji for 3 days to check any allergy and den go for new food.. also slowly n gradually start the meals.. I mean if u start breakfast den only give breakfast for 1 week n 2 week start with lunch n like that.. by the time ur baby is 7th month he should b having 3 proper meals with bf.. I hope it's clear

Hi Nikita, your baby is only 6 month and have just started foods other than breastmilk so give light and easy to digest foods as the the digestive system has just started working. To begin day start with breast milk. Keep gap of 2 or 2 & 1/2  hr between each solids preferably semi solids. whenever your baby wakes up her routine starts right from thath time. after 1 hr of breastfeed Give breakfast of well cooked oats/ powdered daliya/ suji apple kheer/ suji khir/ cerelac(prefer home made).   After breakfast give breastmilk once before lunch . In lunch you can give well cooked moong daal khichdi/ mashed rice with milk or daal. After lunch give dome gap then you can give few spoons of juices like watermelon, grapes, pomegranate, chickoo, coconut water.   Arouund 4 -4. 30 in evening again you can give purees like apple puree/ carrot puree/ potato puree/ tomato puree /beetroot puree/ pear/ papaya/ banana and purees of so many fruits or vegetables .Again between dinner and evening snacks you can breastfeed.   In dinner you can again give cerelac, daliya, sabudaana.   Whatever you give should be well cooked and in semi solid form .  Breastmilk should be given  at least for 7-9 times a day. Hope this will help you .
