Diet chart for hyper active kid

3 to 7 years

Hi Parents & lovely mothers,   My son is 5. 5 year old, he is a very very active child & does not sleep or sit all through out the day, so obviously whatever he eats does not make him look healthy.   Please advice a health diet plan to keep him healthy enough. But most of his meals he eat in the school which is provided by school itself, so what i feed is breakfast, evening snack & dinner.   Please suggest some healthy & handy snacks which i can send him with him to school. He looks very very underweight & lean.   Please help! Sonal

You can serve him desserts after meal . Custard, fruit cream and puddings are some good options.

1. Ask him to do cycling. 2. You can make him join skating.. best ways to channalise their energy.... less sugary, jung food.

Hi Sonal, If he likes the taste of cheese you can add cheese slices to his meal on a daily basis. that will help him put on some weight too. But remember a fat looking child may not necessarily be a healthy child and vice versa. So if he is lean, but alert, learning things and not showing any development issues then don't bother too much.
