hi Padmalatha! I feel more than food, she needs your love and attention. keep yourself available for her once she is back from school. plan your schedule in such a manner that lil one is sleeping when she is back from school. spend time with her, ask her how her day was, feed her sometimes, and have a plate for yourself too and ask her to feed u once or twice. ask her choice , give her what she wants, with ingredients of your choice . hug her often, take her in your lap, kiss her on her forehead. let her know , she is still very special for u. I am sure she will definitely demand from you, what she likes to eat after this change in u. try for at least a week. hope this will help u!

Hi dear I too have the same problem. My pediatrician gave my older child an appetiser and he seems to be interested in food. Along with his lunch and dinner I add his favourite item like papad or few wafers or cucumber. So one spoon of food and one wafer. We play a game. In the meanwhile, my 4 mths old baby next to us watching and enjoying the fun. Making meal time fun is very important. Sometimes telling my older child I have a surprise for him after meal , also works. Suprises like Juice or chocolate or anything. All the best.

thank you both. vivian.. my pediatrician didnt give any appetizer,he asked me to prepare food of her choice. If I offer papad in between meals, she takes only papad and avoids other items Shikha.. you are right that she expects me to cuddle her as I am busy with her little brother. will try whatever you said.
