Sanjana... I can understand ur concern... you can take fruits & milk as you do which helps you great in lactation... avoid junk food, oil food, biscuits, add less spice & salt in ur diet.... avoid coffee & tea.. avoid sitting for long time.... avoid sleeping @ aftnoon and you can have a nap @ evening for just 30 min - 1hr... aft 5 or 6th month start mild exercise for tummy & back...

yes sleep is also associated with health & weight increase... normally we use to think to sleep when baby sleeps & I suggest you not to sleep @ aftnoon aft lunch even if baby sleeps... we can have sleep aft breakfast... coming to tea & coffee it's nothing harm to have unless you are weight conscious but since you concerning about weight increase & health it's better to avoid them as of its caffeine and have just milk or mother horlicks instead... @ this stage all nutritions tat you intake will transfer to ur baby so no matter on fatty & protein rich foods you have.... slowly you can plan ur diet @ off mode on fats when you weaning from feeding.... don't worry...

hi sanjana.... don't plan any diet changes as long as ur breastfeeding your baby... it will affect both of u.... instead u can start small walks and few stretches that will help u.... the videos are available online in YouTube u probably can check them.... don't strain ur back as u ve been thru a C.... you will need to wait for another 3-4 months before u start brisk walks or exercises.... the basic stretches will help ur body feel better....
