hi Amit! this is a very interesting question. thanks for asking this. in casual communication these could be used interchangeably but their disorders require different therapies. for instance a child with speech disorder would have trouble in talking,by making sounds. while a child with language disorder would have trouble in communication, using words,be it written,spoken , body language, gestures. this child might face problem in both receptive understanding what is being said) as well as expressive language ( communicating what she wants to say). an expert can diagnose whether it is speech disorder or language disorder. hope this helps!
