Dinner meal

How important is a dinner meal for a 11 month old? I'm asking so because my daughter doesn't really show much interest in having a proper solid dinner. In the evening, when i give her only milk, then she eats little dinner. If i give her any other eatery with milk she bluntly skips dinner. And she wakes up in the night and she's on milk again. I'm not able to give her any fruit or so because, morning after breakfast n bath she naps and it's lunch time and she eas and naps again and it's evening, time for milk. And as I said, something along with milk makes her skip dinner. What do I do? How to include fruits and also see that she eats 3 meals per day ? Thank you

It's quite important, your daughter is not with empty stomach that solves half of your problem, my suggestion would be to give solid dinner like in evening when she wakes up and in night before sleep you can give milk, it's always good to keep light late night that's why milk, for my daughter I give dinner at 6. 30pm with juice or fruit in evening and then at 9 I give milk and she will sleep.

Hi @hanitha, what I understood is your baby has routine and it seems you need to make some changes with that. Firstly, avoid milk or any eatery before dinner. Try giving dinner till 7:30-8 pm and then after one hour try to give milk. Regarding fruits, try giving at 5pm or with breakfast. I hope your lunch scenario is OK. Try to keep gap of 2-2. 5hr after every meal. If she takes nap in between, than its good. Hope this helps.
