Since bursting crackers is a BIG No -No like every year, please give suggestions on how to celebrate this Diwali with my girls and make it special for them.

Hi Shikha, i am also against crackers. There is no advantage of crackers only disadvantages: smoke , sound, air and noise polution. What i planned is to celebrate this Dewali only with diyas that too earthen diyas . And i will buy that not from any mall or shop but only from street vandors: " taki unke ghar bhi dewali mane aur diy jale" .

wow Puloma wonderful suggestion. infact it will be a great idea if we all buy local craftsmen made diwali decorations , diyaa ,rangoli templates etc instead of chinese goods.
