hi my son is 2. 8 year old, he doesn't hold conversation with us. Intact he hardly talks. He can speak like alphabets, numerical counting, all animals and sea animals etc but he just doesn't talk. We keep speaking to him but he just ignores us. getting really worried about him

hi a similar case v too r undergoing. my son is 2yrs7 months. he imitates words when v constantly talk to him. he can recognise n say some alphabets, count no's,say a few colors, some animals. but doesn't use Lang to communicate.

hi snehajalali !hope he has joined playschool? u could talk a lot with ur child. try and maintain eye contact.. show picture books. ask questions. praise when child tries to express. do role play, make him meet age mates in the park, or organize play dates at home.. regularly.. also consult a speech therapist who would guide u on how to make yr child speak. here is a blog u would find useful! https://www.parentune.com/parent-blog/when-will-my-baby-talk/754?ptref=sa0l000030g00ky
