my baby was also doing the same thing.. after going to play school he has changed a lot.. now he is doing eye contact...

same prob wid me.... he speaks mumma papa hira.... naaa haaaa sab not anything and my son is 2. 5 yrs....

aap apne baby se jyada se jyada baate kro,n usse play school main daalo sirf 2hr k liye,waha frnds banenge toh bolna sikhega baby aapka,

I think playing rhymes may also help ...my daughter is almost 2 yrs and she also talks couple of words... but she likes to murmur the rhymes... may be this helps

usko poems dikhao wo daily dekhega to bolne k lot try karega. colourful rehte h or motion rehte to enjoy b karega

practically show the things , animals. say him to give reply. say the names three times in his ears . and tell to repeat. include sounds. daily 1 name practically and then slowly increase words. repetition is good. show them small work and say them to repeat with toys . talk with an direct eye contact. these I experienced with my children.

if the child is watching TV or playing with any gadgets then reduce his timings for this. play school is a good idea. I had same problem till last year and was visiting even doctors, thanks to the play school which made my daughter to speak with in one month time.

hi.. play school is d best option.. my girl is 2yr n 1mnth.. she doent speak a single word.. i went for d best neuro pediatrician dr. veena kalra n after few test she suggested for play school only....
