hi Dharani! make sure u don't start with solid food but with semi solid such as dal water to begin with, without salt. pureed vegetables such as potato, pumpkin, or fruits such as apples, pear etc. u could boil these and till they become soft and then strain or puree it in a grinder. feed while the baby is sitting and not in a lying position supported by pillows. begin with 3/4 spoons to see if suits the baby. if it does then gradually increase the size of serving. keep trying for 3/4 days if it suits the baby to develop taste. if baby hasn't learn to sit by then, take the baby with head on your shoulders after u feed and don't make him lie down on his back immediately, so that he is able to digest. hope this helps!
