dosage of medicine

doctor has recommended 2 ml of Bevon suspension once in a day. I feel the dosage is more for a two month old baby. Is it? till now what ever medicine I have given to my baby everything up to 0. 5 ml. That's why i am asking?

Bevon suspension is a multivitamin syrup.

yes sagarika.... 0. 5 ml is the normal limit tat suggesting for any medicinal drops for babies... if doc suggesting you to give 2ml you can ask wit doc itself... may be he/she wud felt ur baby weight is not sufficient and could be any vitamin deficiency... this is just my guess but you can talk wit ur doc

Hello sagarika.. In diffrent places doc.. Prescribe diffrent medicines or quantity for babies.. I went through this phase and believe me that was most confusing ever. In bangalore dr.. Prescribe only vit d3 as child dont get that from mother.. Till one year.. No other multivit medicine.. Then after 2 month i went rajsthan there dr.. Gave us like 3 different kind of medicine for baby growth like multivit.. Iron. Etc.. Evan though baby weight was 4 kg all healthy but still.. And yes. 5 ml is standard quantity for under 4 mnth baby.. 2 ml is very much.

Hii, My daughter 18 month old.. plz prescribe me the dose of Bevon suspension for my baby.. is 5 ml x 2 times in a day is right dose for her ?? plz suggest me...
