hello rekha, nothing to worry,... vit D drops r given to babies to allow calcium in breast milk to b absorbed well... vit d is reqiured for calcium absorbtion... vit D naturally is got from sunlight but v dont take new born babies much to sunlight thts y doctors prescribe vitamin d drops.... so deficiency does not occur.... zincovit drops is a multivitamin drop which is even given so tht no vitamin deficiency occurs because baby is completely depended on breastmilk... only if u take all nutrient ur baby will also get it.. thts y its given.... after 6months extra food is given so needed nutrient will reach the baby so zincovit drop is not required.... vit d drops can b continued till 1yr... if u want to stop it then make it a point tht ur baby stands in sunlight and expose her body for atleast 10 minutes between 7am to 10 am....... not above 10am bec its too hot.... (uv rays is excessive).... if not continue with vitamin d.... thank. u... hope it was useful.... take care
