My baby is going to be 6 months. Her head scalp is very dry. Everytime if it is not washed properly by any chance she will have "papdis" (I am not sure of the english word of it) on her scalp. What should i do please suggest. As it occurs very frequently because of it my baby is getting itching . She would start pulling her hair because of itching

Hi Deepika, i think i got what u meant by papdis because my son had the same thing on his scalp. I use to wash his scalp daily but it remained till he was 7-8 months old. My mom told me that its very common in kids. She adviced me to give my son a head massage with mustard oil half an before his bath and then shampoo it and then apply some oil on scalp. If you follow this routine daily then that layer will disappear. Try it
