My one year old baby has eye itching problem start from April month, his eye shows red n he is continuously rubbing his eye. I have given eye drops with doc prescription n he said it's allergy from sun or in summer season. I have giving eye drops continuously. But want to solid solution.

Hello Bhavya, please inform your child's pediatrician about the present condition of your baby. Allergy generally takes a long time to be cured. However, please check whether your child has dandruff in his hair. Sometimes itching occurs due dandruff fallen into eyes. Use Spoo shampoo if there is dirt and dandruff. You can boil water then cool it down.... add a pinch of salt. Rinse the eyes of the baby time to time. PLEASE DON'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT ASKING YOUR CHILD'S PEDIATRICIAN.

hi Bhavya! since eye is a very sensitive area, I would advise u to follow your doc's advise. having said that would suggest u to make sure your child doesn't go out in sun and wears shades or sunglasses and a hat so that his eyes do not have to face the heat directly. please avoid using over the counter medicines as one doesn't know their side effects. if u r not satisfied with your doc's advise please go in for a second opinion. wish ur child a speedy recovery. tkcare!
