hi ..my baby is going to be 5 months now... he didn't latch since day 1... I used madela breast pump to express milk n fed the baby initially with spoon then I switched to feeding bottle... I used to pump out milk then when he is hungry I tried to feed him directly... N if he becomes too cranky I gave him bottle

you can also try with nipple shield.. N you can take lactare or shatavari kalp to boost up supply... pumping out milk is equally important to maintain supply... I used to pump every 2 hours

Mehak.... you can give pumped milk of you as per doc advice but for how many days? ur child is so small and i would suggest you to make your baby to get practised on breastfeeding directly... if you are able to pump out ur milk, why don't try for breastfeeding directly... to be frank its really healthy to you and ur baby moreover there will be arided a bond of love between you tat nothing can be replaced where ur baby starts to recognise you as mother, the great feel.... plan ur diet accordingly... add milk products, dry friuts, garlic, dry fish, pulses, bottle guard, green veggie, methi water

Hi, Mehak you can consult lactation consultant for baby latching problem. Also have more of milk supply increasing food like Garlic, methi seeds, daliya, sabudana, jeera. Remain stress free and rest whenever baby sleeping.
