my baby is 2. 5 mnths old. . i want to know about the time gap between feeds. she is on upper feed

my baby is 3 months. he 'll only show me if he s hungry by putting his hand on his mouth.

same with my baby. . but doctor suggest me to maintain 3 hrs gap. .is it fine. .

my doctor told me to maintain 2 hrs gap but some 'll tell it depends on baby's digestion power.

hi neeshu feeding tym gap shud b 2 to 3 hrs. even if they r sleeping we have to feed them within 3 hrs. but each baby growth differs... so their need ll b different.. we can feed them if they r really hungry bfr 2 hrs too. ensure baby is doing burp aft every feed

My baby is 2 and half months, and he feeds after 4-5 hrs gap.. At night time he sleeps for longer interval for feeding.

Hi my baby is 2. 5 months old.. he spits up lot of milk after burping also. after every feed he burps but also spits milk. Is it normal?

Hi Archana, Yes this is common. The issue of spitting milk was severe with my daughter. Try to feed after every 2 hours and maintain a gap of 2-3 hours for every feed, while feeding ensure that baby's head is supported with your hand,do not put baby to bed after feeding, try not to over feed. These all points helped me. Also keep a track on baby's weight, if weight gain is fine and baby is active, do not worry. TC.
