My baby is 8 months old now.. when he was 2 months old I used to feed him after every 2-3 hours gap.. let your baby ferl hungry , then it will drink for a longer time . burping is very necessary. otherwise it might suffer from colic pain. so immediately after it drinks , try for burp. when you will feel it will sleep now, do the burping ...

If your baby is sleeping well.. gaining weight and otherwise active he is getting sufficient milk.. also try to burp everytime even if the baby is about to sleep.

if ur baby is always sleeping after each fed it means he is not satisfied or he / she is working hard for milk please do take care with the position, and yes burping is must after each fed otherwise baby can suffer from colic problem.

Hi kirti , yes burping is very important after every feed.. after the feedinghold him in a sitting position , keep his body bend towards his toe, but kindly keep your palm under his chin , so that it doesn't get hurt, then lightly rub on his back.. Definitely a good burp will come out.
