hi all. my lo is 2 month old. can i feed him lying on bed. is burp is must when he fall asleep. dont want him to wake again.

burping is vry imp but in sleep just give sm pats on his back... n dnt ever feed him while lying ....ear infection.. milk may go into d wind pipe...

yes... burping aft every feed is very imp... if he is nt doing ..just keep him on hand fr few mins nd tap at d back... don't ly nd feed.. it causes many probs especially ear infection

I sometimes give feed while lying down. I started this only after consulting doctor (when my baby turned 6 months). this is safe for breastfed baby but not for formula fed baby. burping is essential after every feed.
