My baby is 29days old,i still feel my breastfeeding is insufficient.. But he keeps sucking all time.. am really not sure if my milk is sufficient or not.. so am giving him cow's milk as well.. could anyone suggest if taking lactare tablets will increase milk or will it create any side effects?

Hi.. please don't give cows milk.. opt for formula instead.. the tablets will help.. also if your baby is active.. sleeping well and gaining weight there is no issue of breast milk supply.. and the more you feed more milk will be produced.. i faced the same issue and then as per Dr's suggestion i tried only bf for 2 days and baby didnt require top feed at all.. so speak with your pediatrician and also your gynecologist..

hyd first stop gving ur baby cow's milk.. it's harmful for him /her.. lactare tablets r good.. have it.. BT for doses ask to gynecologist. with tht daily one time in one glass warm milk add 2 spoon galact granuals. it's helps to increase milk flow.. BT for more milk ur baby should suck, keep feeding ur baby..

don't give cows milk til 6 months. if ur babies weight is gaining minimum 500 g per month then ur milk is sufficient for him. if not sufficient giv nan pro1 or lactogen.
