fell from walker

hi my son is 8th month old. as usual he loves being on walker. today he just fell and hurt his back of his head no swelling and even crying. and even I observed after hurting himself he was normal but his SLP is just five minutes as he usually slps fr atleast an hour.. I don't if dat fall is related anyhow to his sleep. please suggest should I take him to doctr?

Hi Nimmy , yes once consult the doctor. Check wheather there is blood clotting. Rub the area with ice bag. And avoid walker for sometimes as your child is small and his bones are tender. You can start after 10 th month.

hi Nimmy! check for swelling again or any bump. the child didn't cry and there is no other visible sign of any external or internal injury then u need not worry. having said that please still monitor if u see any unusual change other than not sleeping which could be due to any other reason as well. if possible speak to your doc on phone at least, to be reassured​ everything is fine!

yes there is a bump near to back side of head of the neck region

Nimmy don't panic. bumps while growing up are unavoidable and they do not necessarily indicate serious injury. keep a close watch till next 24 hours. if he's irritable or behaving confused or shows any unusual behavior or crying incessantly then u need to visit your physician. or just have a word with him on phone. or else u need not panic. relax and stay calm and just monitor. hope this helps!
