Food for 5 months old

0 to 1 years

Hey all parents! My 5 months old daughter has, since day 1, never liked formula milk. However, I have always been compelled to top her up with bottle feed as she has never been completely satisfied with breast milk. Now as she is growing she obviously needs more amount of milk but because of not taking formula milk, she remains hungry the whole day and ends up beigg cranky. Her peadiatrician has given a go ahead for semi solids. Can you all please suggest how to go about it. I have started giving her apple juice. Also, does anyone know which biscuit can be mixed in milk and given to infants as glucose biscuits are just sugar and can lead to unnecessary fat accumulation. Hoping for some response. Thanks in advance!

After 4 months u can start with moong ki dhuli daal ka paani. Start with just 1 or 2 spoons. Idea is to give her a taste initially n not fill d stomach with it. Slowly introduce vegetable soup & non citrus fruit juice. After 5 months u can also introduce mashed banana, chikoo, papaya or boiled apple mixing with breast milk to make them runny. After 6 months u can further add sooji ki kheer, rice n daliya ki kheer, khichri etc. Hope it helps. Tc
