My 9 months old baby loves to eat tasty food and I hv added proper salt to make the recipes tasty, bt now I came to know that adding salt to baby's food is not good. , bt my baby is almost used to the taste. Nw he is not accepting good without salt... please help me out with your suggestions how to change my baby's food habits?

Hi Prashanti, I agree with Aanchal here that a teeny weeny bit will not harm him but if you are concerned, you could start by reducing the quantity gradually, rather than cut it out totally. Start by gradually reducing the amount of salt you add to his food. You could instead flavour with something healthier like fresh int leaves paste or coriander paste. healthy and safe (but make fresh at home).

Hi Prashanti, a little bit of salt is not bad for the baby... excess yes, can be harmful, but a pinch is not. with my baby, my doctor told me the same that after 6 monhts, you can give baby some salt. so don't stress. Let your child enjoy his food.
