hi moms for my 9 month old baby shall i give orange juice with little bit honey

u can give becoz I'm give orange juice daily for my three months old son first u see whether Ur baby is suffering from cold .if ur baby is perfect without cold u can give orange juice daily try to avoid if orange are bitter taste give oly sweet taste orange first u taste it then filter the pulp and give to Ur baby if ur baby like it u can give it daily if ur baby is not interested don't force. but don't add honey becoz its hard to digest for baby so give orange just 10 to 20 ml is enough

you can give mosambi(orange) juice diluted with water. I am giving my son from 4 months. 20ml juice mixed with 20 ml boiled cooled water. no sugar no honey. the fruit should be sweet.

i recommend no honey till 1 and your baby s only 6 months. orange juice can b delayed . because it might upset the newly setting gut

immediately apply pinch of salt mixed with water... that stops d poison from spreading.. and later u can apply Ritch cream my pediatrician had given for my baby for insect bite

totally agreed with amrita.. honey is a big no before one year just like eggs.. also juice should be diluted... 1:3 ratio.. 1 spoon juice 3 spoons of water...

honey leads to botulism (a form of food poisoning) in babies as they have delicate digestive system. Please don't give honey before 1year. even after that your baby may reject it... like mine does. In that case, as well, don't force feed.

Shilpa, please don't add honey, it's a complete no no before a year. you can use jaggery to make it sweet. And don't give pure juice, dilute it with water.
