fussy eating

hi all my son is 3and half year old he is fussy eater from the begging;,know he's going to be 4 year, still I am facing same problem, for each of the meal he says no I don't want, he will not be eat food from me, always ask my mother in law to feed the food, some time she will also get fed up from his tantrums ,what I hv to do kindly suggest me

hi Ayesha Banu! u r doing a great job handling two kids! u r so fortunate to have a supportive mother-in-law. u could watch her feeding and see what is that she does, that he is comfortable eating from her . probably little more patience is required and u need to say positive words to him all this while, "u r such a good child", ' how did u finish that so quickly?" " u r a rockstar"! keep hugging him in between and talking to keep him occupied be it narrating a story or reciting a rhyme. if possible have a plate for yourself too and eat along. so the mantra is to be positive , motivating and keep him occupied. hope this helps!
