M in 34 weeks & 4m last one month, my HB% level Is low. My dr suggest me to take iron tab "softron" with vitamin 'c' tab or orange juice once in a day. Bt this doesn't works 4 me & HB is still 9. 3 . Shud i increase d dose of iron tab?

In the last weeks of ur pregnancy eat as many dates u can. It eases ur labor period n gives ease in delivery. U shud also eat figs as well.

Combine these iron foods with foods rich in vit c. Avoid hefty meals and eat smaller amounts through out the day. Avoid coffee and tea 1-2hrs before/after meals.

U can add following to ur diet which will definitely increase ur iron in ur body and hb too. Chickpeas Kidney beans Peanuts Almonds Cashews and other nut Spinach and dark leafy vegetables Dates Raisins Dried apricots and other dried fruits Dark chocolate and cocoa powder Oatmeal There r many more options. I hope this can help u a lot.

U should take at least 1 pomegranate in a day. Plus u can add jaggery to ur diet. Have loads of spinach and green salads. Make sure ur intake of iron in a way that is easily absorbed by ur digestive system

Yr u cn ask for iron injection.. N hv lots of spinach n anar juice...
