Hi Ruvanthika! Congratulations on the arrival of your bundle of joy! I understand your concerns! you have been very strong and you are doing a great job. postpartum depression is quite common due to many hormonal , physical as well overall changes in lifestyle during pregnancy and after delivery.. Ruvanthika ur child is completely dependent on you as of now. you are his conatant source of happiness and it's you who ensures his well being . he would smile looking at smile on your face. if your feel these feelings are overpowering your thinking and affecting your day to day functioning please confide in a close friend or relative who could help u. also seek the help of an expert. take the support of your husband if u feel he will be able to help u. you are going through a major phase , giving birth to a baby and trust me it's not an easy job. pamper yourself , take a break for an hour or so and do what u enjoy doing. take help of family members in taking care of your infant. love yourself and try and be happy as you mean the world to your baby. as far as him being premature is concerned, it is a matter of time ,u would even forget that if he is being taken care of well, which I am sure u are already doing . hope this helps!!
