hi sonam ! please begin with semi solid diet like Dal and rice water, daliya, ragi, powdered oats, khichri. u can also give fruit and vegetables purees like papaya, apple, pear, sweet potato ,carrot etc.. try a dish for 6 to 7 days preferably during day time, for baby to develop it's taste. begin in small quantities to see if it suits the baby. if yes gradually increase the serving size. introduce a new dish once he is accustomed to its taste. here is a blog u would find useful. https://www.parentune.com/parent-blog/initial-foods-6-12-months/170?ptref=sa0l0000hqm004q

1. oats (rolled/organic) dry roast and powder it. make sure you cook it thoughly and preferably given during the day. 2. sooji ( roast in ghee until you get a nice aroma, you can add one Elachi as well, cook thoughly and add a little BM/formula in the end to give a nice flavour. cow's milk only if the baby is above 1 yr old 3. broken wheat/dalia 4. finger millet/ragi (sprouted, home made preferably)

Always begin with a small quantity, and gradually increase it.. make sure the consistency is right and give your baby time to accept it. if he/she refuses, wait for a day or 2 and try again.

If you suspect anything too unusual or see any allergy, stop what you gave immediately and see the paediatrician. after a month you can introduce nuts too, in small quantity.
