Hello parents, My 5 year old son eats lot of junk. How do I make sure that he is getting a good diet that facilitates his growth and development? Please suggest how I should make him understand the importance of the healthy diet.

Hi Monika, You will need to take firm decisions. Limit junk to maybe 2 days a week or 3 meals in a week. Tell him firmly that he has to follow it. ALso, have a conversation with him on how junk can damage his health. Start cooking his favourite foods such as burgers or pizza or pasta at home using good ingredients such as wholwheat base, veggies etc. hope this helps.
