Please do not take any medicine or syrups without consultating your doctor. You can harm the baby. Make sure you drink a lot of water. Have apple or watermelon. It will help to relieve the acidity. Do not take the ayurvedic stuff too.

Hi Shalini, As others said don't take any medicine without consulting your gynac. But you can still avoid heart burn. The stomach acid travels back into your oesophagus (food pipe) and that's when you get heart burn. So while sleeping keep your head in elevated position with extra pillows for your head and shoulder. drink a lot of yogurt and fresh juice. Avoid spicy, oily food and citrus fruits which can cause acidity. Eat less but eat more frequently. Chew your food well. Avoid eating just before going to sleep. Give enough time interval between your mealtime and your bedtime. you will be fine.

Hi Shalini, like everyone suggested this is not the time to have over the shelf medicines. Ask your gynae and she will tell you how to get relief from heartburn. Some of the tips eat less spicy food, eat frequently, avoid oily and greasy food.
