hello parents My child who is 3 years old has developed rashes on skin and has been continuously sneezing and coughing . Got is diagnosed .. it was allergy.. I have read that some wearable technolgies and smartphone applications can track and manage symptoms. has anyone used that and do you think they are helpful? Also should I use an air purifier? what questions should be asked to the doctor for allergies in kids

Hi Arunima Arora ! Do you mean to say blood pressure and pulse and other vitals? Yes air purifier shall help in keeping the air clean to a great extent. Try and build on his immunity by serving Vitamin C rich dishes . Avoid allergens to keep him safe and healthy. Wrist bands to check histamine levels in body and also detect pollens and dust levels in environment.. are they helpful?

Never tried those, shall request fellow parents to suggest. Also your doctor would be able to guide you better on this ,as they know whether such gadgets results are authentic or fake.

Hi Arunima Arora Yes there are some applications and gadgets which are there in the market which are some sort of helpful but before going into any use of them, it is foremost to know that what exactly your child is allergic to. For that I would suggest you to consult to your child's doctor and ask him that what is the main thing which is causing your child allergy, if currently unknown then how you can come accross with the real reason of allergy, how to prevent it, what is the over the counter remedy and what is the treatment. And as far as air purifier is concerned, I think in the current scenario the pollution levels are already very low due to pandemic situation causing lockdown almost everywhere so there is no need of it as if now, you may buy after some time when the lockdown is completely over as the pollution levels may get high again.
