Since it is not showing complete write up. hence writing here. Hi all, My son is 8yrs old and currently he is in 2 grade. In March 22nd onwards he would be in grade 3. Since I am working mother I always prefer to cover most of the important and difficult subject and topic during summer vacation as during school days I don’t get enough time to help him. He is good in class 2. I want to teach more about English so that he get habbit to write himself and read books as well. Most important grammer part. Could you pls suggest me how to start this. As in class 3 there would be more difficult grammer and lesson. I want him to be self-sufficient. Pls advise. Thanks Aarti Mehan

hi A M! how r u doing! long time . u could converse in English with him. make him read newspapers ,underline difficult words, make sentences with those.. discuss headlines.. also u could play games like scrabble, find the missing word, fill in the blanks, antonyms ,synonyms, homonyms , articles .. here is a blog u would find useful. https://www.parentune.com/parent-blog/grammar-essentials-how-to-make-sure-your-child-learns-english/2374?ptref=sa0l000030g01ty

A M thanks so much for your positive feedback. u could assign work to him. if newspaper doesn't interest him, give him a simple story book which he enjoys reading.. then ask him to narrate what he read in his own words. mark difficult words and find their meaning from dictionary. also u could pin new words on his board.
