No need to worry every new born baby hv joindce . its completely gone in 1. 5 month. If u wanna do something don't wear yellow clothes and always tube lights on in baby room and early morng sun light which is orange in colour Show to baby body .

do not panic . if you stress out at this time.... breastmilk production will reduce. . neonatal jaundice is common as the liver hasnt started to function yet hence the bilirubin doesnt breakdown and is acumulated in the blood. it ll reduce gradually within 1 month. 1. maximum feed the baby. because the bilirubim will reduce through his pee and poop. when baby has jaundice , they mayb tired most of the time and ll b sleepy.... this can lead to dehydration and make the situation worser with weight loss. ...so try to feed him within every 2hr. 2. try to get him in the early sunlight which is lole. around 7 am and evening after 5 ....when the rays are at its coolest form.. 3. you may get vit d drops for ur baby untill one yr. usually it is been provided now from the hospital at discharge. just follow these and baby ll b fine.

u can also chk wether its reducing by pressing and leaving his heels. check for yellow stain after pressing. if it is yellow then it means jaindice count is high. it ll first reduce from the leg and finger and hands and then moves upper and upper and finally yellowishness leaves the eyes at last. .
