Hi Surabhi, try to remember any incident that has occurred in the past. It may have left a deep mark on their memory. So if you want them to get rid of their fear then you need to be with them in the dark room for sometime and talk to them casually about everything and then say see there is nothing

Thanks Tanisha. Sure will do what you advice me. But coming to occurance of any incident in past .... there is no such incident but sometime back they saw some child-programme in which at the end of the episode it was clear that it was not so called bhoot but the mischieves of some naughty people.

hi Surabhi Verma ! how r u! fear is something even we adults are unable to overcome, as we have lived with them throughout our childhood uptil now. I believe the reason for this could be that no one ever sat and gave us the logical reasoning behind those phenomenas .For instance if someone could explain the child why lightning takes place or some people have fear of animals say dogs, if someone could explain to them their life cycle ,how they reproduce what they eat, and other facts about these animals and make it interesting in the form of making a scrapbook, pasting their pics , surfing net, knowing about different breeds, visiting families with dogs as pets etc and when the theoretical part is Done , it will arouse their interest and they would be more than willing to know more about them or even have these as pets. Surabhi it would be great if u could explain it to them that absent of light causes darkness, and how shadows are formed, and do small projects or exercise with them based on the same theme.. it should help! don't force them to go to a dark room. just go along with them and explain how it happens once they are comfortable.
